PAKISTAN, Northwest Frontier Province, ancient & medieval iron spear and javelin heads (and butts)
I run into a similar problem attributing these as I do with the arrowheads.  You will find books and websites here and there that will illustrate some type of spearhead and attribute it to some culture and time, then you will find essentially the same thing in a place that those people never were.  Metallurgical analysis would tell something, but travelling armies and blacksmiths would might use the local stuff to make their weapons in their typical style, or they might bring stock with them, or they might use salvaged stuff that could have come from anywhere.  Hard to draw conclusions.  I won't try.  All attributions tentative.  The things speak for themselves, but we are deaf to their tales.
