WELSH TOKENS
Wales started out as a separate country that the English had to attack repeatedly for a couple of centuries before they "got" it.  Forcibly joined at the hip with England for most of 1000 years, the Welsh culture fairly well suppressed, Welsh has broken out in the last decade as a revival language.  There is supposed to be a single coin from independent Wales, which I have never seen.  And there are many tokens.

WALES, 1/2 penny, DH-1+, 1793, bust of Druid L in wreath / monogram, NORTH WALES HALFPENNY, edge: PAYABLE IN LONDON BRISTOL & LANCASTER, aXF $24.50 sold
