Of the three Scandinavian countries Denmark is perhaps the one with the smallest series of private use numismata over the years.  That is, of course, if you exclude the enormous issue of amusement arcade tokens of the 1980s.  Supposedly so many of these were made that when the boom ended they were used as ship's ballast for a while before being sold as scrap.
