NIGER, Neolithic, c. 10,000-2000 BC, flint tools.
   I refer once again to the unified stone tool culture of the neolithic period.  In Africa it seems to have begun several thousand years before the rest of the world.

    These axes were purchased on the street in New York City in 2005.  The average of workmanship of neolithic tools from West Africa seems to be quite high.
