INDONESIA, JAVA, c. 1000 BC, socketed bronze axes.  My understanding of Bronze Age technology is that they started out making things that looked like stone, then progressed through sockets, pierced sockets, flanges, then pierced flanges (or tangs for the little stuff).  So most of these will be early Bronze Age, with the little ones on the bottom of this page later.  Pictures are ~2.4x enlarged.
