ROMAN EMPIRE Crispus, Caesar, 317-26, AE3, SR-3928, VOT V MVLT X CAESS TSE, (Thessalonika), seems made of nothing but silvering, G/VG $35.00
From the time of Diocletian through at least the 370s all of the bronze coins were given a silver colored coating made mostly of tin.  In most cases this coating is gone by now, though silvered specimens can be found.  This piece is odd in that it is made of nothing but the silvering material.  Counterfeit?  Probably not.  Odd?  Definitely.
