c. 1-200 AD, bronze "money."
I first got
a couple of these in 2001. Supplier wanted plenty of money, called
them "ancient ring money." I wrote back complaining that the metal
was wrong for ancient, look how crude they are, these are just late date
basket handles or something, don't send them again please. Early
in 2003 I got all of these and wrote again, this time asking what and why.
I got this answer - Mongol, contemporary with Han dynasty, hard to get.
I find that story provisionally acceptable, and am passing the story and
pictures around to see if I can get any corroboration. For the time
being I am offering them as what they have been told to me to be.
