Sikh coins

At some point I will have to write about the Sikh faith, which emerged in greater northern India as a response to both the darker and the lighter sides of both Islam and Hinduism, and about the Sikh polity, which played a major role in the demise of the Mughals and was a big "problem" for the British early in the 19th century.
You see all of these coins are sold. Sikh collectors tend to be active. I probably have some of the common coppers available, go ahead and ask.

There exists a vast variety of copper coins of the 1790-1850 period. Most cannot be attributed to a particular date. It is assumed that most were struck in Amritsar. All the catalogs show a selection. None are comprehensive.
