ARMENIA,
    Christian kingdom in an ocean of Muslim Turks.  Actually, medieval Armenia was located on the southeastern coast of Asian Turkey (Cilicia or Kilikia), southwest of the modern republic.  The Rupenid dynasty hung with the Crusaders and Western Europe.  Extinguished by the Mamluks of Egypt and Syria in 1375.
