ANCIENT GREEK SILVER COINS
The organization of this page follows that of Sear's Greek Coins and their Values, the best general reference for the field in English.  This means that a number of Hellenistic coins, which means post-Alexander, are listed here.  Classification is not a double-edged sword, it is a thornball.

ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS IS?  8mm, 0.8g, silver, obverse may be a panther scalp & skin, rev. a scorpion.
